Rogue ISP shut down – Worldwide SPAM volume falls 60%

Over the last couple of days, the volume of mail passing through our mail server has fallen dramatically.

The reason for this was that one Californian ISP – McColo – has been shut down.

This rogue ISP was the host for a large variety of spammers and hackers.

It’s hard to believe that one ISP could have so much impact, and be the provider of so much frustration to the world’s internet users.
