I’ve just got rid of a faithful old friend. A friend who had delivered many thousands of important messages for me. Autoresponders are emailing programs that can managing your mail lists, send out personalised newsletters, and keep track of who should receive sequential mailouts of courses, sales letters, etc. For many years I’ve used a program called Auto Response Plus, which I purchased and ran on a dedicated server. This now has disadvantages, because of the many barriers being put up against email transmissions.
A month ago I decided to try AWeber, a commercial mailing service that costs $US19.95 per month.
I’m very impressed with this service and will soon be transferring my newsletter over to it.
It has all of the facilities I need, is much easier to use, and will send out messages more efficiently than my existing system.
So if you’re spending hours and hours sending a large mailout with Outlook, I’d recommend that you check out AWeber . You’ll save a lot of time and frustration.
(I checked out other services such as Get Response, Cooler Email and Constant Contact, bu they all fell short of the services provided by AWeber .
